Turn your website into a conversion machine

Your website is your company's face online, but it can't just be a brochure anymore. It needs to have a great user experience and convert leads. Is your website up to the task?

Grow through growth driven design

We've Flipped Website Design on it's head

why should I care?

What is Growth Driven Design?

The old way of building a website to be an "online brochure" simply doesn't work anymore. Through Growth Driven Design, we build websites to scale with your organization while constantly improving user experience and optimizing for conversions through extensive testing and data.

The old model is broken

Build your website to scale

Growth Driven Design involves incremental and consistent changes to your website to continually improve the overall user experience over time. Content and messaging are designed to consider website usefulness, user experience, conversion rate optimization, and stickiness to best tailor the site to your ideal targeted buyer persona. Analyze user data and make adjustments to improve the user experience.  Growth Driven Design is a repeatable cycle intended to enable you to make changes and implementations that improve user experience and help you achieve your goals.

The new way

Growth Driven Design

Enter Growth Driven Design (GDD). Growth Driven Design is a new philosophy in website design that takes the process from the terrible cycle above and turns your website into a living, breathing, optimization machine! The idea is that we launch your website faster (typically in 6 weeks, depending on the size of the site) so that we can start collecting data as quickly as possible. We then take that data each month (site usage, traffic analytics, heatmaps, etc.) to improve that site. So, while the website at launch will be well designed and look great, the site will be exponentially better in month three than it is on launch day.

One of the biggest mistakes that we see business owners make is that they want to have a website built that matches their preferences. While that can work out,  your customers and target personas typically have different feelings. They want the site to function differently, they want different elements, they care about different things than the owner does. By using data, we are able to build a website that your customers, prospects, and target personas love – which is what really matters, right?

With Growth Driven Design, we turn the website design project into a retainer. Each month we study the website data, learn from it, and implement features, changes, and optimize for better user experiences and thus better engagement, more leads, and a better bottom line.

The old way

Traditional website design

When you think about a new website design, you likely think of the way that it’s been for the last 20 years. It’s a long 3-6+ month process, it’s always over budget and scope, and it just kind of sits there for a couple years until it’s time to redesign it. That was once an ok model. With less competition ten years ago, you could build a website, and it would receive traffic naturally, and you could convert some leads and close some sales from it just because it existed.

Today, however, that’s not the case. With over one billion websites live from around the globe, competition for attention has never been greater. That means that you have to lose the “Field of Dreams” mentality and understand that people aren’t just going to come to your website anymore because you built it. You need strategy and optimization behind your website.

With a traditional website design, you really don’t get that.

Issues with Traditional Website Design

  • High up-front costs
  • Typically takes 6-18 months for development
  • No major updates until next website launch
  • No lead generation strategy
  • The website is typically built for the owner/manager of the business - not the website visitors

GDD + Inbound Marketing

The next step to producing a website that generates leads and closes sales is adding an inbound marketing campaign on top of your Growth Driven Design website.

Inbound marketing is not a tactic, channel, or technology. It’s a way to approach your marketing to capitalize on the way your customers make buying decisions today. People value personalized and relevant content, not intrusive messages. With inbound marketing, you can attract visitors, convert leads, close customers, and delight them into promoting your business to others without interrupting their lives.

Inbound marketing is all about pulling prospects and customers in rather than pushing your message in front of them when they don’t want to see it. Through great content in your blog, downloadable content, social media, SEO, email, etc., you can attract prospects when they need you and are looking for you, rather than interrupting them when they don’t want to see you.

Optimizing your website to fit the way your prospects and customers want to use it and also producing educational and helpful content through an inbound marketing campaign is a recipe for amazing success!
